we are living stone productions
Living Stone Productions is a video production company telling stories across music, film, and television, from music videos, documentaries, and films to TV shows, concert videography, touring content, and photography. We work with mainly metal and hard rock musicians, but we serve all genres! Our mission goes beyond creating exceptional content. We exist to glorify Jesus Christ by spreading the gospel and making disciples through the way we serve, create, and build relationships with the artists we work with and the audiences watching what we make. Whether we're on the set of something entirely our own or creating an artist’s vision, in a live arena, backstage, or on the road, we strive to reflect the truth, hope, and love of Christ in everything we do, believing that great storytelling can move people, build community, and point hearts toward something greater.
Meet Jacob. The owner.
I'm Jacob Stone, a director of photography, videographer, filmmaker, and content creator with over 20 years of experience. My path began in high school video club, where I worked on projects for the school and created other types of videos. After high school, I went to basic training and became a Military Police officer in the Army National Guard. Once I finished that, I continued my journey in college at IUP in western Pennsylvania, where I pursued a Bachelor of Science in Communications Media with a focus on TV and video production, and a Master of Arts in Adult Education and Community Technology.
Since shooting my first wedding in 2010, I've built a career doing run ’n’ gun videography, capturing live events and weddings. As I progressed, I worked on my first film in 2015 doing a 48 Hour Film Project and plunged into the world of filmmaking. Since then, I have created music videos, commercials, documentaries, films, social media video content, and YouTube videos, along with growing my skillset as a director of photography.
My faith has played an important part in shaping everything I create. After leaving home at 18, I fell away from Christ and didn’t go to church for around 15 years, living for the flesh and desires of this world. By the Grace of God, working through some friends of mine, I started following Jesus again in 2024, and found a church right beside where I live called Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Cedar Park, TX. After attending regularly, getting involved in serving at the church, attending bible studies, and actually reading the bible, and finding my Christian community, I was baptized again in July 2025. This season helped redirect my creative purpose as I began following God’s will and what He intended for my life.
That purpose now lives through Living Stone Productions, a video production company where I tell stories across music, film, and TV. This includes original films, TV shows, and stories of my own, rooted in strength, truth, and light. Being a musician myself, I love working with artists and helping bring their vision and stories to life, whether that's through a music video, a documentary, concert videography, touring content, or an original story built from the ground up.
These days, both sides get equal attention, whether that's an original film or series I'm developing, or helping artists bring their vision to life through a music video, or in their real-life environment on stage or on the road. The goal is always the same, which is to tell the story well, make it look awesome, and reflect the truth, hope, and love of Christ in every project, whatever form it takes. If you're looking for something a little more comedic, check out my other company, Viking Light Productions, still rooted in faith and built on the same foundation of strength, truth, and light, just with a lot more humor mixed in, creating sketches, original films, and shows built to make people laugh. Lastly, if you are a content creator on a budget who wants to learn how to make videos yourself, I create how-to videos and share behind-the-scenes and vlog content as a filmmaker and content creator on my YouTube channel.
Our Mission
To glorify Jesus Christ by spreading the gospel and making disciples through creative excellence, serving the music industry, and telling stories through original films, documentaries, and TV shows that build meaningful relationships and reflect the truth, hope, and love of Christ.
"As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ."
